What is Taste of the World Riyadh?
Taste of the World, Riyadh combines all the best ingredients to create a world-class gastronomic festival – the world’s latest and greatest restaurants, the most exciting chefs from across the globe, local culinary stars, live cooking and demonstrations, music and more.
Produced by Taste Festivals; Taste of the World, Riyadh is part of a worldwide network of 15 events hosted in cities from Sydney to Toronto, Milan to Amsterdam, Dubai to Hong Kong. 2019 marked the first time Taste has been hosted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is organized in partnership with the General Entertainment Authority, as part of Riyadh Seasons and in-line with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
Taste of the World, Riyadh is produced by Taste Festivals Ltd (an IMG company).
Where is Taste of the World Riyadh being held?
Taste of the World, Riyadh 2019 was held at Digital City in Riyadh. Stay tuned – the 2020 venue will be announced soon.

What is The Taste Residence?
The Taste Residence offers a unique and exclusive private dining experience where you can enjoy a 4-course tasting menu from one of the world’s best chefs.
The star ‘chef in residence’ will finish, plate and serve a 4-course small plate menu, while a host presenter guides you through each course. You’ll even have the chance to ask questions to the chef! A very special experience for a maximum of 24 people per seating.

What are ‘dishes’ at Taste of the World Riyadh, and how much do they cost?
Restaurants and chefs from around the world will serve ‘taster’ size sample dishes at their pop-up restaurants. Each restaurant will create a 3-dish menu – two dishes will be their signature dishes, and the final dish will be created for, and inspired by, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This unique format allows guests to create their own exclusive tasting menu from 14 of the world’s best restaurants, all at one venue.
Dishes are priced at SAR 35.
All general admission entry tickets are inclusive of a ‘restaurant credit’ for 2 dishes per person. All VIP entry tickets are inclusive of a ‘restaurant credit’ for 3 dishes per person.
How do I pay for dishes in Taste of the World, Riyadh?
This cashless method of payment helps improve your experience. You’ll spend less time in queues, less time worrying about cash, less time concerned with fraud and theft, and most importantly, more time enjoying the event! Your wristband acts as your wallet.
You can use your wristband to purchase food and beverages from the restaurants at Taste of the World, Riyadh – simply tap your wristband at any of the outlets at the venue to pay for your order and the amount due will be deducted.
Please note that restaurants do not accept cash or credit / debit card, though you’ll still need some cash if you wish to shop at the producer markets.
How will I know how much credit I’ve got left on my wristband?
What if I lose my wristband or it gets damaged?
If your wristband gets cut, torn or wet, it will still be accepted across the festival should you have funds on it. However, you are welcome to collect another wristband free of charge at the entrance to the festival. Your wristband is water-resistant.
